Di postingan kali ini selain berisi Transkrip Soal Listening Bahasa Inggris SMK Tahun 2009. juga berisi audio listening section 2009 supaya soal dan transkripnya sambil dengerin audionya. Audionya bisa langsung didengarkan di website ini dengan mengklik tombok play. Sobat bisa juga download audionya dulu dan disimpen di computer atau laptop sobat.
Sedikit tips untuk belajar listening. Usahakan untuk pertama kali mendengarkan audio listeningnya, jangan baca transkripnya dl. Tapi cobalah untuk dengarkan dan pahami apa yang diucapkan oleh speaker. Karena dengan begitu sobat akan cepat terbiasa mendengarkan listening. Setelah itu jika sobat ingin mengecek kebenarannya apa yang sebenarnya diucapkan oleh speaker, barulah buka transkripnya. Gitu ya sobat, okke.. oh ya sedikit tips lagi, jangan bosan dan jangan mudah menyerah ketika belajar listening. Pertama kali belajar listening memang agak sulit, tapi lama kelamaan akan terasa mudah, dan nanti akan terbiasa mendengarkan listening.

Listening Section
In this section of the test, you will have the chance to show how well you understand spoken English. There are four parts to this section, with special directions for each part.
Part I
Directions: For each question, you will see a picture in your test book and you will hear four short statements. These statements will be spoken two times. They will not be printed in your test book, so you must listen carefully to understand what the speakers say.
When you hear the four statements, look at the picture in your test book and choose the statement that best describes what you see in the picture. Then, on your answer sheet, find the number of the question and mark your answer.
Example
Look at the picture and listen to the four sentences.
The clock is hanging at the left.
The man is holding some books.
The bookshelf is behind the man.
The window is wide open.
Choice (C) – “The bookshelf is behind the man” – best describes what is seen in the picture. Therefore, you should mark (C) on your answer sheet.
Let’s begin number 1
Number 1.
a. The woman is pushing the man
b. they are trying to climb up the mountain
c. The man is smiling happily
d. The man is holding a stick
Number 2.
a. The glasses are between the tables
b. There is some fruits on the plate
c. The chairs are next to the window
d. The fruits are among the glasses
Number 3.
a. The woman is not wearing a hat
b. They are all wearing a sun glasses
c. The two men wear jacket
d. The woman is holding a camera
Part II – Questions 4 to 7
Directions: In this part of the test, you will hear several questions spoken in English, followed by three responses, also spoken in English. The question and responses will be spoken two times. They will not be printed in your test book, so you must listen carefully to understand what the speakers say. You have to choose the best response to each question
Now listen to a sample question.
You will hear:
Woman : Where do you live?
You will also hear :
Man :
a. In the morning.
b. On Jln. Pramuka.
c. With my parents.
Choice (B) – “On Jln. Pramuka.” is the appropriate response to the question “Where do you live?” Therefore, you should mark (B) on your answer sheet.
Number 4
4. Your room looks very dirty. How about if I help you cleaning it up?
A. That’s very kind of you.
B. I have just bought a new vacuum cleaner.
C. I’ve already washed the clothes.
Number 5
5. Would you prefer to get a job or continue your studying?
A. You can work after studying.
B. I prefer working if possible.
C. Yes, I would go to University.
Number 6
6. Would you like to come over for dinner tonight?
A. I love to. Thanks.
B. Yes, the show is over.
C. We had TV dinner last night.
Number 7
7. Can you tell me where the South Street is, please?
A. Yes, he lives on South Street.
B. Yes, it’s about 5 minutes walk in that direction.
C. No, you can’t turn around there because of the flood.
Part III Question 8 to 11
Directions: In this part of the test, you will hear several short conversations. The conversations will not be printed in your test book. You will hear the conversation two times, so you must listen carefully to understand what the speakers say.
In your test book, you will read a question about each conversation. The question will be followed by four answers. You have to choose the best answer to each question and mark it on your answer sheet.
Example:
You will hear:
Man : Are you a student here?
Woman : Yes, Sir.
Man : Where is the English class?
Woman : Next to the Laboratory.
You will read:
Where does the dialogue happen?
A. At the hospital.
B. At the station.
C. At the market.
D. At school.
Choice (D) – “At school” – is the best answer to the question “Where does the dialogue happen?” Therefore, you should mark (D) on your answer sheet.
Number 8
8. Man : Hello, I’m Harry Shepherd. I really enjoy your lecture.
Woman: Hi, Harry. I glad you enjoy it. Thank you.
Man : I wish I could read your book.
Number 9
9. Woman: Are you going to the Gym now?
Man : No, I have got a soccer game tonight. We play every week and have a lot of fun. How about you? Do you play any sport?
Woman: I usually play tennis once or twice a week.
Number 10
10. Man : Which one do you think would be better for me to buy, a motor cycle or a car?
Woman: I think a motor cycle would be suitable for you.
Number 11
11. Woman: May I help you, sir?
Man : Yes. Can I get a cup of coffee?
Woman: Coffee is served only in the lobby on the first floor.
Part IV Question 12 to 15
Directions: In this part of the test, you will hear several short talks. Each will be spoken two times. They will not be printed in your test book, so you must listen carefully to understand and remember what is said.
In your test book, you will read two or more questions about each short talk. Each question will be followed by four answers. You have to choose the best answer to each question and mark it on your answer sheet.
Question 12 and 13 refers the the following advertisement
