Di postingan kali ini selain berisi Transkrip Soal Listening Bahasa Inggris SMK Tahun 2007. juga berisi audio listening section 2007 supaya soal dan transkripnya sambil dengerin audionya. Audionya bisa langsung didengarkan di website ini dengan mengklik tombok play. Sobat bisa juga download audionya dulu dan disimpen di computer atau laptop sobat.
Sedikit tips untuk belajar listening. Usahakan untuk pertama kali mendengarkan audio listeningnya, jangan baca transkripnya dl. Tapi cobalah untuk dengarkan dan pahami apa yang diucapkan oleh speaker. Karena dengan begitu sobat akan cepat terbiasa mendengarkan listening. Setelah itu jika sobat ingin mengecek kebenarannya apa yang sebenarnya diucapkan oleh speaker, barulah buka transkripnya. Gitu ya sobat, okke.. oh ya sedikit tips lagi, jangan bosan dan jangan mudah menyerah ketika belajar listening. Pertama kali belajar listening memang agak sulit, tapi lama kelamaan akan terasa mudah, dan nanti akan terbiasa mendengarkan listening.

Listening Section
In this section of the test, you will have the chance to show how well you understand spoken English. There are four parts to this section, with special directions for each part.
Part I Picture – Question 1 to 3
Directions: For each question, there is a picture and four short statements about it on the tape. They are spoken two times and are not written out in your test book. So you must listen carefully. You must choose one sentence A, B, or D that best describes the picture. Then, on your answer sheet, mark your choice.
Example
Look at the picture and listen to the four sentences.
a. The basket is made of woven rattan,
b. They shoot the ball to the basket,
c. Some fruit is put in the basket,
d. We need the basket for this stuff.
Choice (a) “The basket is made of woven rattan” best describes what can be seen in the picture. Therefore, you should mark (a) on your answer sheet.
Now let’s begin with picture number 1
Number 1. Look at picture number 1
a. There is a computer monitor on the table.
b. The stereo headphones are on the book shelves.
c. The students are using the Self Access Center.
d. The tape recorder is put beside the whiteboard.
Number 2. Look at picture number 2
a. The girls are practicing the dancing lesson.
b. They are dancing with their guests.
c. They are sitting closed to each other.
d. All of them are wearing traditional dresses.
Number 3. Look at picture number 3
a. The two boys are playing music on the flea market.
b. The woman’s standing in front of the boys.
c. The lady is singing a song on the stage.
d. They are walking around the city park.
Part II Question 4 to 7
Directions: In this part of the test, you will hear several questions spoken in English, followed by three responses, also spoken in English. The question and responses will be spoken two times. They will not be printed in your test book, so you must listen carefully to understand what the speakers say. You have to choose the best response to each question
Now listen to a sample question:
You hear : Will you be here this summer?
You will also hear:
a. Yes. Summer is my favorite season.
b. Yes. They will be here soon.
c. No, I won’t. I plan to visit my family
Choice (c) “No, I won’t. I plan to visit my family” is the appropriate response to the question “will you be here this summer?” Therefore, you should mark (c) on your answer sheet
Now let’s begin with the quastion number 4

What time does this electronics store open?
a. Yes, this store sells electronics.
b. As far as I know, it opens at five p.m.
c. In the evening we turn on the electricity.
Number 5
I think English is interesting, isn’t it?
a. Yes, I always attend interesting lessons.
b. No, my teacher doesn’t speak English at all.
c. Yes, I really like it.
Number 6
Which way is the nearest money changer from here?
a. No, there isn’t any money changer here.
b. There’s one at the end of the street.
c. The most expensive currency s the pound sterling.
Number 7
Hello, how can I cancel the reservation of two suite rooms for next Friday?”
a. Please, contact the receptionist on extension 12.
b. I regret to tell you about my cancellation.
c. Certainly, the rooms are available for you.
Part III Question 8 to 11
Directions: In this part of the test, you will hear several short conversations. The conversations will not be printed in your test book. You will hear the conversation two times, so you must listen carefully to understand what the speakers say.
In your test book, you will read a question about each conversation. The question will be followed by four answers. You have to choose the best answer to each question and mark it on your answer sheet.
Example:
You will hear:
Girl : Are you sixteen yet?
Boy : Not yet, but my birthday is in March.
Girl : When in March?
Boy : It is March 20th.
You will read:
What do you learn from the conversation?
a. The girl is sixteen years old.
b. The boy is twenty years old.
c. The boy was born in March,
d. The girl’s birthday is March 20.
Choice (c) “The boy was born in March” best answers the question “What do you learn from the conversation?” Therefore, you should mark (c) on your answer sheet.
Number 8
Woman : Could you come to my house tomorrow morning?
Man : I’m sorry, I can’t. I’ll have a meeting but I’m free in the afternoon.
Woman : OK. Please come at any time.
Number 9
Man : I’d like to reserve two tickets to Makassar, please.
Woman : When and how do you plan to go?
Man : Garuda Airways, please. It’s for next Saturday.
Number 10
Woman : I couldn’t get a clear picture on the television I bought two days ago.
Man : You should follow the trouble shooting steps in the brochure. You’ll get a clear picture, then.
Number 11
Woman : Do you mind if I use your pen to sign this paper?
Man : Just a moment. I haven’t finished writing my curriculum vitae.
Part IV Question 12 to 15
Directions: In this part of the test, you will hear several short talks. Each will be spoken two times. They will not be printed in your test book, so you must listen carefully to understand and remember what is said.
In your test book, you will read two or more questions about each short talk. Each question will be followed by four answers. You have to choose the best answer to each question and mark it on your answer sheet.

Questions 12 to 13 refer to the following instruction.
Here are some steps on how to install any additional software from a CD or DVD.
1. Insert the disc into the optical drive.
2. When the installation wizard opens, follow the on screen instruction.
3. Restart the computer if prompted to do so
