Di postingan kali ini selain berisi Transkrip Soal Listening Bahasa Inggris SMK Tahun 2006. juga berisi audio listening section 2006 supaya soal dan transkripnya sambil dengerin audionya. Audionya bisa langsung didengarkan di website ini dengan mengklik tombok play. Sobat bisa juga download audionya dulu dan disimpen di computer atau laptop sobat.
Sedikit tips untuk belajar listening. Usahakan untuk pertama kali mendengarkan audio listeningnya, jangan baca transkripnya dl. Tapi cobalah untuk dengarkan dan pahami apa yang diucapkan oleh speaker. Karena dengan begitu sobat akan cepat terbiasa mendengarkan listening. Setelah itu jika sobat ingin mengecek kebenarannya apa yang sebenarnya diucapkan oleh speaker, barulah buka transkripnya. Gitu ya sobat, okke.. oh ya sedikit tips lagi, jangan bosan dan jangan mudah menyerah ketika belajar listening. Pertama kali belajar listening memang agak sulit, tapi lama kelamaan akan terasa mudah, dan nanti akan terbiasa mendengarkan listening.

Listening Section
In this section of the test, you will have the chance to show how well you understand spoken English. There are four parts to this section, with special directions for each part.
PART I
Questions 1 to 3
Directions: For each question, you will see a picture in your test book and you will hear four short statements. These Statements will be spoken two times. They will not be printed in your test book, so you must listen carefully to understand what the speakers say.
When you hear the four statements, look at the picture in your test book and choose the statement that best describes. What you see in the picture. Then, on your answer sheet, find the number of the question and mark your answer.
Look at the sample below.
Now listen to the four statements.
A. The motorcycles are parked at an outdoor parking lot. B. The motorcycles are displayed in the showroom to sell. C. The motorcycles are parked in an indoor parking hall! D. The motorcycles are kept at a service station to be repaired.
Statement (C) “The motorcycles are parked in an indoor parking hall.” Best describes what you see in
the picture. Therefore, you should choose answer (C).
Number 1
Look at picture number 1
a. The girl is painting flowers.
b. The band is playing a country song.
c. The musician is performing on the stage.
d. The painter is working on her masterpiece.
Number 2
Look at picture number 2
a. The train is running by the river.
b. The ship is sailing on the river.
c. It’s raining heavily on the mountain.
d. The people are gathering around the train.
Number 3
Look at picture number 3
3. a. The mother is cooking for her son.
b. They are having a picnic in the park.
c. The boy is playing alone in the house.
d. She is carrying the boy on her shoulders.
PART II
Questions 4 to 7.
Directions: In this part of the test, you will hear a question spoken in English, followed by three responses, also spoken in English. The question and responses will be spoken two times. They will not be printed in your test book, so you must listen carefully to understand what the speakers say. You have to choose the best response to each question.
Now listen to a sample question.
You will hear:
X : Good morning John, how are you?
You will also hear:
A. I’m fine, thank you.
B. I’m in the living room,
C. My name is John.
The best response to the question “How are you?” is choice (a), “I am fine, thank you.” Therefore, you should choose answer (a).
Number 4
When will the plane arrive?
a. Jane will depart at six.
b. At four thirty, according to the schedule.
c. It will take off in twenty minutes.
Number 5
What size do you wear in shoes?
a. It’s forty.
b. I need a bigger size.
c. They were here already
Number 6
How was your trip to Sentani Lake?
a. Great! I’ll be back again someday.
b. OK, but I prefer to have coffee.
c. Good. I sent the money to him.
Number 7
Do you know that we are going to have a new manager?
a. Yes, we manage to arrive on time.
b. Yes, he will introduce himself today.
c. No, we are not going anywhere today.
PART III
Questions 8 to 11.
Directions: In this part of the test, you will hear several short conversations. The conversations will not be printed in your test book. You will hear the conversation two times. So you must listen carefully to understand what the speakers say.
In your test book, you will read a question about each conversation. The question will be followed by four answers. You have to choose the best answer to each question and mark it on your answer sheet.
Number 8
Man : I didn’t see you at the cocktail party. Where were you?
Woman : My car wouldn’t start. How was the party?
Man : Great! Everybody was there.
Number 9
Man : What are we going to do after work?
Woman : We can have dinner at the plaza at 7 if you like.
Man : Sounds good. I’ll pick you up at 6.30. We need half an hour to get there.
Number 10
Man : Do you speak Japanese?
Woman : No. I’m from Thailand. I speak only my native language and English. Miss. Matsura is from Japan.
Man : Thank you. I need Japanese and Korean speakers.
Number 11
Man : Do you still have a seat for the afternoon flight?
Woman : Let me see. Is Qantas OK?
Man : I prefer Garuda if available.
PART IV
Questions 12 to 15.
Directions: In this part of the test, you will hear several short talks. Each will be spoken two times. They will not be printed in your test book, so you must listen carefully to understand and remember what is said.
In your test book, you will read two or more questions about each short talk. Each question will be followed by four answers. You have to choose the best answer to each question and mark it on your answer sheet.
Questions number 12 and 13 are based on the following speech.
